Pick Up the Pace with the Little Tasks
1. "Shorten your response time.
2. Return all telephone calls within twenty-four hours.
3. Shorten your phone calls.
4. Learn to say no (and enjoy it).
5. Apologize quickly.
6. Speed up lunch.
7. Conduct faster meetings.
8. Commit quickly.
9. Say thank you as soon as possible.
10. Accept that 90 percent will usually suffice.
11. Write shorter memos (McCormack, 2000, pp.51-54)."
